A Sunny weekend!

The weekend began with laundry! It is that time of the year that soccer season has ended. So I have been busy....

Lots of uniforms to be washed

and dried.....

I also made a batch of cookies. Remind me this is why I don't make cookies cause then I eat them!

I went to the in-laws new house to see how things were going.

Ryan and Wayne spent the morning on the roof

Sophie just like watching, it was too much work for her.

Look at them go! They are getting so much accomplished.

Sophie Loves her momma!

We went for a walk with Carol and Jake.

And Ryan's sister in-law Rebecca.

Hard work!

Better late than never!

I have been a busy lately and didn't realize that I hadn't gotten pictures of the house finished painting. Or atleast the front painted.

A busy Weekend

Last weekend was a very busy weekend for me!

On Saturday I participated in the Walk For Hope in Augusta.

This picture just amazes me looking at so many people out there helping for such a great cause.
Sunday afternoon I participated in another walk.

So this is my shirt form Sunday.

Both walks were 3 miles and each day I went for a run after!

On Sunday I also went up to see the progress on my in-laws new house. So I just had to share a few pictures.

Sophie just thinks she is the star of the show!

The garage and mudroom/kitchen are coming along nicely.

And the master bedroom on the other end is also getting there just a bit slower.

And there's that wonderful husband of mine picking up the broken branch while his dad cuts boards.

A weekend Away - Moose Hunt Day

Monday at camp everyone got up to go moose hunting. I must say I stayed behind with all three dogs in hopes of keeping them settled so that those who stayed behind would not be bothered by the dogs.

After talking to Ryan and hearing that he was hungry I told him that I would make the moose hunters breakfast and deliver it to them. He called me back with an order of 15 yes 15 breakfast sandwiches.

So 2 pounds of bacon in the oven
Lots of bread being toasted
Drinks packed
And a meet up spot decided we met up with all those mighty hunter for breakfast.
The girls told stories of what they had seen and done in their morning of moose hunting.
The boys held their own little conversations and game up with their next game plan for the rest of the day.

Then I went back out hunting with the boys.

I caught Wayne dancing
And my husband smiling! He is in happy land when he gets to go hunting.

Ryan and Brenda rode up in the seats so they could see better.

And on the way Brenda and Janelle rode out together!

I just love this view. I got this same picture on my phone at about 5:30 at night with the sunset. It is beautiful.

On the way home I got a few pictures of the construction of the new bridges in Carrabasset Valley.

They were working hard on a holiday at that!

okay, so I have a little fun taking pictures.

And on the way home with Grammie and mom Sophie was super tired. She had a long weekend and was ready to go home to get some relaxing done.

Weekend Away - Work Day

We must have a work day when we are at camp!

Ryan just loves cutting down trees once my mom gives him permission.
Dad digs a trench for our Direct TV line.
Busy boys!
And a great group watching what's going on.
Wayne is awful brave to let my father put him up in the air like that.
And he is even braver go up like that.
Grampa wanted to help. So he walked on the newly covered wire to pack the dirt down.
And the group watches as the boys work on making a circular driveway.
The boys loaded firewood, that Ryan had cut and moved it back to the side of the house.
Sophie worked hard.
And Ryan split the wood!
Again.... Sophie was tired!
Wayne wasn't feeling so well, so he found himself here!
