A long week!

Even though we have had a long weekend off I have to say I have spent the first of many years alone.  My day's consisted of getting up early with Ryan to send him off hunting then I would spend some time with my sewing machine before I would decide that I would finally take the time to get ready and go find something to do for the day.

We spent one morning looking at more houses.  One evening stringing all of my grandparents Christmas lights up on their deck, and one night with my parents and cousins enjoying leftovers.  

Two and a half more weeks!!!  I am on the countdown for the end of the hunting season!  I am ready to enjoy some time with my future husband and to work on some more wedding planning.  We will enjoy some wedding planning this week as we enjoy a cake testing this week.

So off and running.  I have a busy week this week but the evenings will be enjoyed next to my hunny working on some great Christmas surprises.  

Where we've been.

Ryan and I have been through a lot together and here is the journey of our time together. We have experienced life changing experiences with each other by our sides. Our Journey started out with sadness and hard times. We kept our relationship hidden for a while before sharing our love for eachother publicly.

This is not all of the places and things we have done together as all have not been captured. But we have had an amazing journey together and are excited to continue a journey of a lifetime together.

The planning is in full swing.

Yes, a date is set. It is going to be a very special day that two very special have allowed us to share with them. We will be getting married on July 1, 2011 which is also my grandparents 50th anniversary. My grandparents are excited to share this day with us and lots of great events will be in store for the four of us to share together. So hence we will be getting married on a Friday night. What seems better about a Friday night in July but on a dock on the water!

We will be getting married out on the dock at my parent's house on the water. Not only is this a place that Ryan and I enjoy. It is a place my brother enjoyed entirely and a beautiful location at that.

We have started the planning and made it official who will be standing up with us on our special day. Lindsey will be joining me and Ryan will have two of his friends joining him, Corey and Derek. We will not be having the joy of a flower girl or ring barrer, partially due to the fact that the dock can only hold so many people. I have also spent many hours with many different kids so I cannot choose them all so none it is!

We will follow our Friday, family only small ceremony with a short celebration not only for the newly weds but for the people we share that special date with!

Saturday will be another day to CELEBRATE!!!! Saturday we will be having our wedding celebration with many more friends and family. We will be enjoying this lakeside and if Ryan has his way with Sophie there also. We will see how that goes. We haven't gotten all the details ironed out as we are still unsure of a bunch of stuff but this is the start and we continue to talk about this on a regular occasion.
