A Day of Painting

A couple weekends ago I had some great help!

Carol came up to help me get some painting done. We worked on getting the back of the house painted! She did a lot of painting on staging while I did a lot of painting on the deck and painting from the ground.

Sophie has decided that she likes to hang out outside while we paint.

And she had some company! She likes visiting Jake or having Jake come visit her.

She just can't seem to get close enough to him. Jake would get up and move and Sophie would go lay down closer to him. I think he was getting annoyed because he wanted his space and she wanted to follow!

It's been a long week

Okay, so here I am admitting that I am ready for this week to be over.

Ryan has been gone since Friday and yesterday was the first day since August 27, 2009 that I have not communicated with Ryan. We have at least texted each other everyday and since September 4, 2009 we have talked every night.

So last night was a struggle for me. I didn't sleep well, I can't wait for him to get home. And he may only be home for a couple of days then leaving for a couple days but at least I will get to see him for a little bit.

So I am not sure he will be home today but I am hoping he will be!

Dad turns 50!

On September 17th!

We had a little get together with some food, fun, family and friends!

Who in their right mind needs 3....that's right 3 bottles of crown royal! I am really hoping I am at least the lucky recipent of 3 mice little purple bags!

And some deer hangin' thing. I'll admit Ryan and I gave this to him but I didn't pick it out. Isn't that what husbands are for? To pick out birthday gifts for my father!

Jones Sr. New House

My in-laws bought a new house. Ryan and I are slightly excited to have them in Jefferson.

There house is at the end of a dead end street and has lots of fields and trees. They have amazing apple trees and great space. It is currently 2 bedrooms with 2 baths.




The cut off the bulk head and dug out to add on the master bedroom on the first floor on this side of the house.

An Anniversary Celebration

September 12th is a special date to my new family!

We put up a few decorations after my mother in-law had been here all day to pull together and surprise 30th Anniversary Party!

We had lots of food, and as always Carol came with more food because she just thought she was coming for a dinner.

The end of a crazy week!

It's coming torward the end of the week and I am wrapping it up with a bang.

Wednesday afternoon Lindsey and Autumn came over and when dowloading these pictures I found this one.

Obviously someone had been playing with my camera. Atleast the pictures are cute.

She also thought it was great to stand in the chair and play with the water in my sink until she realized one side was extremly hot!

And I started Thursday morning by heading back to work! First day in the new school.

A quiet Labor Day

Labor day was a quiet day. Ryan and I visited with Ryan's father for a bit, his mother for a bit then off to my grandparents.

Where we found out that Grampa had old videos restored so we got to watch them.


Many from when my mom was a little child and my uncle a little child onto when my brother and I were little.

Grampa, Jimmy, Amy and Preston walked out back to see the wood cutting job. Preston looks like he is looking for snakes.

And I got to finish out my evening in my basement!

A week of fun

Today I go back to work.......

But in the last week I have gotten to spend some great time with great people and kept very busy.

Autumn and Sophie are watching Ryan mow the lawn. Not this is something funny to watch they started at this window and as he made his way around the house....


They went to this window. She must have ran back and forth between windows twenty times. She was just a goin'.

She also decided she was going to try out uncle's chair he brought home from his parents. It is very tipsy!

We celebrated Gram's birthday on the 19th!

And we had more company. I would say it is about nap time! It looks like someone is getting tierd, she is super snuggly with uncle Ryan.

And we celebrated Ryan's birthday on the 28th.

This time we had ice cream cake instead of me making a cake.


And I rounded out my last two days before going back to work with Autumn's smiling face again.
