Wedding Update!

Okay, Okay, Okay!!!!

So people keeping wanting weding updates, so I've decided...

It's about time!!

16 Days!

Till this lovely couple walks down the isle.

We had our couples wedding shower on May 28th.

I must say all the thank yous are done addressed, stamped, and were sent out in the mail a week and a half ago!

The wedding quilt is coming along great!

Well it's actually comming along better but we will talk about that later.

All the gifts from the bridal shower, well mostly. Are still in the spare bedroom where they were left.

I haven't had much spare time to unpack and organize. So this works for now.

My squares are all cut out and just waiting for the rest of the goodies to arrive.

And I have my wonderful grandmother that I owe lots of thanks too!

She helped me get all these napkins done so that I have one less this to stress about.

And so......Here's the quilt!

Well yeah. You don't get to see the entire thing it's all folded up. But atleast you get a peak!

And then there is the storage room....

All the rest of the wedding goodies are in bags, boxes and packages just in a pile. This stuff will start coming out soon to organize and get ready.

And the Herbs......

They are enjoying sunnin themselves on my back deck.

School is winding down and wedding bliss is in full swing.

Last week was vidoegrapher meeting, this week is DJ meeting, food meeting, dress fitting, and sewing!

I absolutly love my room!

It is large, I have my own walk in closet through the door you see on the right.  

and I have plenty of open area.  And Ryan has his own closet around the corner to the right. 

Bridal Shower

Saturday May 28th was Ryan and I couples Bridal Shower.  I went and did my trial run for my hair with Lindsey then went to get the girls.

And we got to play ball with Pam, Gus and Auntie!

We enjoyed our chicken and watermelon for lunch.  And they got to have punch.

She has that evil look on her face.  She just wanted her watermelon and didn't want to wait while mom cut it!

The boys were in some deep conversation which I later heard was about a wood splitter?

The food was great, and as always we are still eating off leftovers!

Addition to our home!

This weekend Ryan and I went shopping! We have talked extensivly about getting a gun safe. Ryan owns a handful of guns that we need to keep protected. We will also be using this safe to protect other important documents that we may have that need to be stored.

We went with gram and gramp to go shopping. Gram and I went to the quilt store while Grampa and Ryan went shopping for gun safes!

And now that we have gottent his big purchase it is now in our house. It is tucked in a corner of the living room and out of the way. Now once wedding stuff is done I must try to work on some sort of table runner to put on top of the safe and drape down the side of the safe toward the living room so it isn't so noticable .
