Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we decided that we would sit down with J and open a few presents ahead of time because we knew Christmas day was going to be busy

So we opened presents even while I didn't feel so well and ran a fever.

But J had fun!

Then we went to the Moody's for Christmas Eve dinner.

J spent some time with Great Grampa,

And got to watch daddy open one of his presents from both his grandparents!

My child now has his lifetime, fishing, hunting and archery license.

We enjoyed a great family style dinner.

And J was a big boy and sat at the table with us.

Look at all those grandparents!

And J's cute Santa butt.

By the end of the night he just wanted to lay down and kick grampa in the legs.

Helping Nana make Pie!

We went down to mom's to have dinner.

We danced with Nana

And we sat in the kitchen and helped make Pie!

Okay, so he played, and took a nap while Nana and I cooked the pies.

Our first Christmas tree, both in our home and as a family!

We got light on it.

And Jason's 1st Christmas decoration!

Then Daddy and J put the rest of the ornament on.

The look so cute together.

And a quick family photo

A Buy Saturday

Saturday after Thanksgiving, J and I were headed to gram and gramp's to have Preston make cookies!

Little did Gram and Gramp know what was about to hit them.

Ryan and I showed up with the baby and the dog, Mom and Dad showed up to meet and pick up Miss. A.  So needless to say it was a busy morning at Gram's house!

She certainly loves her uncle!

Look at all those goodies on the table that are getting made!

Preston and Autumn enjoyed decorating the cookies.  I made the cookies and melted the chocolate and crushed up all the toppings to decorate them.

Preston took his time putting on lots of melted chocolate and lots of toppings.

Autumn wasn't so into making them as she was into watching them be made and picking the candy off them when they were done.

Preston had to do taste tests along the way.

Some bouncing around full of energy!

And she thought that we needed another picture of her.  I don't know where she gets all the funky faces!

And look at all those finished cookies.  A big bag got sent home with Preston, a bag went home with Autumn and a bag came home to my house!

Jason just loves Preston!  He lays there and talks to him and watches him and screams when Preston leaves him!
